Foothills Pack and Denver Pride Partner with West Coast Starz to Launch Girls Western Regional Platform

Two of Colorado’s girls lacrosse programs are joining forces to create a new pathway for elite players.

Foothills Pack and Denver Pride have announced a partnership with West Coast Starz to launch the Girls Western Regional Platform. The goal is to give athletes across Colorado and the Western United States better access to development and recruiting exposure.

“This partnership represents a major step forward for girls' lacrosse in the West,” said Matt Kelley, Co-Founder and Partner of Foothills Pack. “By aligning with West Coast Starz and our colleagues at Denver Pride, we’re giving our athletes access to a premier regional platform while maintaining the integrity and strength of our local club cultures.”

This new platform connects Boulder, Northern Colorado, and the Denver metro area into one aligned system. It creates a more direct path for players to move from local club teams into regional teams that compete and train at a national level.

The program will identify players from grad years 2028 through 2033 through centralized regional tryouts. From there, selected athletes will compete in invite only events and attend training camps led by college coaches.

“We are excited to evolve the landscape for our players,” said Trevor Tierney, Co-Founder and CEO of LXTC Lacrosse. “By aligning our programs within this unified regional pipeline, we are providing our girls with high-end training and coaching on a local level, along with national visibility and exposure.”

What makes this platform different is how it fits into the current club structure.

The schedule is designed to complement existing club commitments, allowing players to stay with their teams while gaining additional exposure through regional events.

For many families in the West, recruiting exposure has been limited compared to the East Coast. This partnership is built to address that gap.

“This is about creating access and opportunity,” said Alex Cade, CEO of Adrenaline. “For too long, top players in the West have had limited visibility compared to their East Coast peers.”

Athletes in the program will have access to training with NCAA coaches, national recruiting events, game film, and recruiting guidance. The platform also connects players to established events and national exposure opportunities.

West Coast Starz brings a strong track record into this partnership, including a reported 90 percent recruiting success rate and recognition as a top national club platform.

The first major step for players will be regional tryouts scheduled for August 1 and 2, 2026 in San Diego. From there, selected athletes will move into a yearly cycle of training and competition aligned with key recruiting windows.

For Colorado lacrosse, this creates a more structured path for players looking to compete at the next level while keeping development rooted in local programs.
